SAP FICO Lead

We are looking for a high-performing SAP FICO Lead to drive the delivery of sophisticated financial solutions. This role sits at the intersection of technical excellence and strategic business advisory, offering the chance to lead functional teams through complex S/4HANA implementations. You will leverage the latest SAP tools to transform financial landscapes, ensuring seamless integration and long-term client success within a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Implementation: Lead the design, build, and testing phases for at least five full-lifecycle SAP implementations, with a specific focus on S/4HANA Finance.
• Functional Leadership: Architect financial solutions by facilitating workshops, conducting Fit-Gap analyses, and collaborating with Process Architects to define the future state.
• Customisation & Configuration: Design and configure core S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules, maintaining a deep mastery of data structures and financial flows.
• Process Design: Oversee the planning and execution of the "build" phase, ensuring all financial processes are optimised for efficiency and compliance.
• Sustaining Excellence: Provide high-level support for critical incidents ("fix when broken"), monitor data integrity from source systems, and manage minor system enhancements.
• Advisory & Mentorship: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for power users and junior consultants, providing guidance on best practices and system roadmaps.
• Strategic Problem Solving: Diagnose complex defects and present stakeholders with viable, scalable options for resolution.

Technical & Professional Expertise

• S/4HANA Specialisation: Extensive, demonstrable experience in S/4HANA Finance & Controlling, including at least three successful end-to-end project lifecycles.
• Integrated Domain Knowledge: Expert-level command of FICO with a broad understanding of how finance integrates with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP).
• Consulting Background: Proven success in an international or top-tier consulting environment, managing diverse client expectations.
• Technical Agility: Ability to handle technical deep-dives into mapping tables, database interactions, and system software logic when required.

Mandatory Security Requirements

• Clearance: An active AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory for this position.
